Our Story
Honoring Miles. Celebrating Heroes.
Feasting With Friends is a non-profit organization founded in loving memory of Miles Anthony Cilluffo, our angel baby, and in recognition of the everyday heroes who make our communities stronger. After losing Miles in October 2022, our family experienced an outpouring of compassion and care from the incredible staff at Summerville Medical Center. Their support reminded us how powerful kindness can be — and inspired us to give back in a way that brings people together.
When we were later blessed to welcome our daughters in December 2023 and July 2025, we knew it was time to turn gratitude into action. Feasting With Friends was born from that calling — a way to honor Miles' memory while celebrating those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Each year, we invite our community to nominate a deserving team, department, or organization that has gone above and beyond in their service. Once or twice a year, we select a recipient and provide a full-course, Lowcountry-style feast — complete with whole-hog barbecue, fresh seafood, and southern hospitality — as our way of saying thank you.
Our mission is simple: Gather. Give. Grow. We gather people around the table, give back to those who give so much, and grow a community built on gratitude, compassion, and connection. Feasting With Friends isn't just about food — it's about fellowship, healing, and carrying Miles' light forward by spreading kindness, one meal at a time.
